Overall, the more I look through the eyes of the show, the more I like, but not as much as I did the nasty letter lover glam in the 80s in New York Fall 2009 (or brilliant show from a year ago for that matter). Maybe it’s the colors that I switched off or perhaps the genie pants organza. I appreciate that the models all over the shoes that are either entirely or almost flat, the bags looked like they’d be complicated and fantastic for a closer view, and clothes that grow on me and looking more radiant than a minute . There was an obvious masterpiece, though: the final look of the show. It was a fleeting, effervescent confection of a gown that defied gravity and seemed to have drawn spun air. There was excessive or underdone, but just do enough to demonstrate the skill with which he was attached and the eye in which it was issued. Perfection.

As the collection or not, this dress should be enough to convince anyone that Jacobs is still the king. It’s taking a while for the ideas behind these clothes to settle with me, but the journey from the mind of this master is nothing if not pleasant.

Throughout the sculpture-yet-feminine presentation, there were nods to Japanese culture, Comme des Gar ons 莽 and their own creative collection Jacobs “grunge at Perry Ellis, among a slew of other things. We RUFFLES galore, many layering ( as should be expected to Jacobs), underwear-as-outwear (also not the first time we’ve seen that from Jacobs, and it reminded me a bit of Christian Dior couture presentation for the current year), and pastel than I can not remember the Fashion Week in … well, ever. I hate pastels, but if MJ can make that beautiful steel blue a trend could leave the peach and lavender go.

No review of the spring Marc Jacobs »2010 fashion show would be complete without taking a good look at the accessories featured too – after all, is what we are picking other mercilessly in a few months.

According to a softer color palette of a large collection of MJ, we saw many champagnes, medium and light blues, creams and whites in the collection of accessories. Many of the bags made from colorful leather frames, sometimes in what appeared to be many different textures – I spy definitely a python, at least.

He also filled the signing Jacobs, many of the quilts bring along pins and tassels. I liked the added texture, but it was not my favorite bags of the show – the tassels and laces them looked like tentacles to me. Not a good look.

And the last thing if nothing else, a margin is not over yet, at least not in the mind of Mark. I feel that it will decline somewhat before the products are shipped to stores, but I do not hate. Be & D has an obsession I have with soft lambskin leather. Touch is one of the most important senses, which is important when shopping for handbags. I kid you not Be & D has some of the soft skin I’ve ever felt in my life. I can not even in words how it feels really soft. I totally dig the Be & D Garbo Studded Leather Baguette, when it recently revised the Be & D Garbo line. The baguette is not just one kind of bread that I love, but it’s also a fun name for the shape of this bag. There is an optional chain strap with a massive 21.5 “drop. And while I usually take off the strap chain strap I liked the chain on this bag. In addition, you can double the chain strap to wear as a purse shoulder, or leave much to wear a bag crossbody, or go chainless and dated as a clutch pedal.

I know some of you are so over the stud trend, but I love it. My attire is usually jeans and a shirt, so a bag full of really dress it all up and add extra pow. Black with gold pyramid studs are the perfect classic combo when it comes to nails. There is a convenient external back zip pocket, that would be ideal for your mobile. The fashion world has convened in New York last week for the Spring 2010 show some of our favorite designer labels. While Vlad and I could not make it this year, we stuck to the computer to check out all performances, events, trends, celebs! One of the biggest parts of Fashion Week is about who is who. Bloggers are now given front row seats in some scenes, while the presence celeb remains constant. Of course there are the top fashion editors and journals to participate as well. One of the most notable aspects of the fashion industry has made appearances at Fashion Week, Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue.

What do you think of New York Fashion Week: What show left you wanting more, which shows he adore you?

By all accounts, Dolce & Gabbana Fall / Winter 2010 runway show was very moving – began with a video dedicated to the technical skill that goes into creating clothing brand and ended with a huge flock of models on the runway at any of the black blazers. I can not think of more fitting bookends to a fashion show in these uncertain times – the celebration of craftsmanship and classic seems only to hit a note now.
But what we’re here to talk about bags, and those who struck a similar chord. Two basic shapes made an appearance: first, Miss Sicily, shaped in the brand-wagon has been strapped for the last season. Come in all kinds of textures – leather, python, knit, lace, fur. These materials were often combined to finish the puzzle, but the feeling was mostly a bit too similar for last season to get me excited. What caught me by surprise, however, was the second figure – tiny coin purse / iPhone hybrid case is worn across the body in large chains. Seemed highly functional and current, while still being very detailed and luxurious. Modern functionality is something I wish I had seen a little more during the recent gathering.

At a time when almost every designer has put the clothes that are classic and understated, it’s almost a relief to know that Christophe Decarnin even made clothes for rock stars and supermodels in Balmain. I mean, somebody has to, right?
Decarnin collection will look aggressively glam in almost any context, but the effect is only magnified thousandfold when contrasted with the somber brown and midcentury shapes many other high-profile gathering of the season. Where did the other ostrich leather handbags and custom fit, Balmain brought us rich brocade, gold foiling, leather pants and flamboyant fur.
Several recent signatures Balmain, such as bold-shoulders gleam minidresses, heavily detailed military jackets and skintight leather made enough appearances, but I was more struck by the slightly aspects outside of the collection. In particular, gold brocade jackets and skinny trousers connect reminded me again and again by Keith Richards, and several deep zone of dresses made me wonder who would be so lucky as to wear them on the red carpet. A fitting collection for a culture of rights has been replaced with the music and film stars.

Excuse me for a moment while we are talking about how absurd all this is. Agnes was out of the game for a year is too old and the girl next door nice to be recruited as a model for a runway show. It would be Gossip Girl, if everyone had betrayed everyone else, and the incident Monday night was a full-on fit of hotel-stealing, hooker-hiring, pill-popping dirty tricks. There was also a part of future boyfriend-stealing, in the end, but will mostly have to wait for next week.

For an hour of TV that includes all these things, however, surprisingly little actually happened. There was a fashion model with a rogue (been there, done that), a nasty run in with a prostitute (ie me), missed a golden chance with a lot of fake hair (and this, but this time it was Serena). Jenny went back to work with Eleanor Waldorf, that annoying chick model came back, and Chuck and Blair must start to plan again (I’m OK with that part). Gossip Girl was back to old tricks, and when I say that I want to say again: I feel as if they had seen half of this episode already.

Let’s start with the issue of Little Jenny Humphrey and fashion show. Eleanor Waldorf is looking to launch a line of diffusion to a Salt Lake City-based department store, and Rufus somehow manages to wedge Jenny again that, despite the fact that Jenny ran away from home the last time the same suggestive fashion crowd . Rufus apparently does not remember that, now married to the money, Eleanor Waldorf taking calls and doing favors for himself, like giving delinquent daughter of a temporary job.
